OtoCorrect adds a small "oto" icon to your menu bar (Mac) or system tray (Windows) — no desktop window to manage, it just lives quietly up there.
A small menu drops down. Click Start Monitoring to begin the camera-to-volume loop in the background — nothing else on your screen changes.
Your OS will ask permission the first time — allow it. Nothing from the camera is ever recorded or sent anywhere; it's only used locally to estimate distance.
Open the live camera preview to see the detected face box plus the current distance and volume, updating continuously as you move — the same numbers driving your volume behind the scenes.

OtoCorrect was built by Samir and Saikapish in hopes of expediting and improving both the protection and observation process of hearing. Through this tool, we hope that we can not only improve this process, but bring it to systems everywhere.
